Meet our craftSweet Hearth is one small kitchen, three bakers and a stone oven that has been running since the day we opened the door.
One hearth, everything
One stone deck oven, loaded by hand at four in the morning and emptied loaf by loaf until eight.
Long ferment, quiet flavor.
Time is the only shortcut we take, and it happens to be the slowest one available.
Baked daily, never twice
We bake to the day, not to a warehouse. Whatever is left at closing goes to the shelter two streets over.
